In the countryside communication project, Central Finland 1.1.2010 – 31.12.2013
In the countryside communication project’s purpose is to enhance competitiveness of Central Finland’s rural tourism by improving internal and external communication.
Project’s operations and actions
Project’s operations and actions are for example workshops, materials and functions for seminars and publicity, marketing in social media, networking and introductory events, creating publicity, media and public relations plans.
Primary focus groups of internal communication are suppliers of countryside holidays (farms, cottage owners, meeting/event and festive facility suppliers), tourism coordinators, tourism developers as well as incoming travel agencies.
Secondary focus groups of external communication are Central Finland’s residents.
In the countryside communication project will offer changes for focus groups to expand their networks, to meet new co-operators and get valid and current information about education, developing and funding possibilities.
Central Finland’s residents will also get more information about province’s countryside holiday alternatives.
